We have had a well failure, We are issuing a Boil Water Notice until we can get the turbidity flushed from the lines caused by the sand in the well. The water should still have a chlorine residual, but is not recommended for consumption at this time due to discoloration. If you are not seeing color in your water you are not effected.
Boil Water Notice - Sediment In Water

We have had a well casing fail wich has caused sand to come into the lines. The water has still been treated for biological agents, but may contain air or sand causing discoloration. Due to this discoloration we thought it prudent to alert the customers. If you are not seeing discoloration, then you are not affected. Once we have issued a boil water notice we have to leave it up for 7 days. We hope to have the lines flushed and the water cleared up for those affected by the beginning of next week and may recind the boil water notice as early as monday the 24th.
